This site and The Mausoleum don't use cookies, analytics, ads, or trackers. I don't collect anything about you, and nothing is sold or shared.

What stays in your browser

The Mausoleum keeps three small notes in your browser's local storage: which works you've already seen, which secrets you've found, and whether you turned the sound off. They never leave your device, and clearing this site's data in your browser removes them. Some of the games save progress or settings the same way.

What loads from other companies

Two things come from outside, and only when you press play. Films in the Theater play from YouTube (its privacy-enhanced player), and tracks in The Deep play from SoundCloud. Once they start, those players may set their own cookies under their own policies: Google's and SoundCloud's. Until you press play, nothing from either is loaded. This site and The Mausoleum serve their own fonts; a few older demos linked from the portfolio still load theirs from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address when they do.

Hosting

The site runs on a server I operate, behind Cloudflare. Like any web host, they see ordinary request details, such as an IP address and which page was asked for, in order to deliver and protect the site. I don't use those to identify or follow anyone.
